POLE DANCE CUP
INTERNATIONAL POLE DANCE COMPETITION

1. Organizers of the Pole Dance Cup – International Pole Dance Competition (named further as Competition) are: Men's Day www.mensday.pl and Pole Dance Project www.poledanceproject.pl (named further as Organizers)

2. Competition take place on 4th of June 2011 in Warsaw/Poland, Puławska 266 str. Tor Wyścigów Konnych Służewiec at the ground floor of building

3. Competition begin at 14.00 with official draw of performances sequence and ends at 20.30 ( Organizers reserve right to change programme and there for exact hours of Competition in case of any changes which may take place during Competition – to lengthen or shorten the Competition) The exact programme of the Competition is available at websites of the Organizers

4. Competition is not divided onto any specific categories. The only category is female category without dividing it onto age category or any other

5. Contestant is a person, who meets following conditions:
- on day of registration contestant has to be 18 years old
-contestant, regardless of nationality, needs to have valid id document( passport, residents card, id card, etc.)

6. Competition is open to contestants of all nationalities as well as dance schools, studios, organizations representatives as any other private representatives

7. Before registration on day of Competition all contestants need to apply for the Competition

must contain following data:
-name and surname or/and nickname if contestant wants to use any
-place and date of birth
-series and number of id document (passport, resident card, id card, etc.)
-name of dance school, studio, organization, company, which contestant represents (if any)
-music – author, title of music piece and title of album where the music piece comes from
- contact data – telephone number, email address

9. Competition is divided onto two rounds:
Ist round – eliminations during which all contestants, in order set during official draw of performances sequence, dance one show to the music of own choice, which however it cannot be longer than 3 minutes
IIst round – after eliminations 6 finalists will be chosen and during II nd round (contestants may repeat performance from Ist round) the finalists will dance second show to the music of own choice, however it cannot be longer than 3 minutes

10. During the performances is not allowed to take off any clothes if by taking off contestant will show any form of nudity. It is however allowed to take off parts of costume such as: coat, mask, jacket, skirt, if after taking them off the contestant will remian properly dressed. Any kind of nudity (showing breast or intimate body parts) will immediately disqualify the contestant

11. The costume is individual, however topless, underwear such as thong or any erotic lingerie is forbidden

12. During every performance it is allowed to use gadgets as addendum of the performance. Examples of gadgets:
-umbrella
-glasses
-chair

13. It is allowed to use any kind of shoes during the performance or dance bare feet

14. Before the Competition and during the Competition it s not allowed for contestants to remain in any contact with Members of Jury. In case of any hesitation the contestants must contact the Organizers

15. Before and during the time of the Competition contestants are not allowed to:
-drink alcohol
-take/use any substance that change mind consciousness
-take/use any forbidden stimulants, such as steroids, etc.
(any aberration of that rule will immediately disqualify the contestant)

16. Members of Jury will judge contestants accordingly to scoring card (available at websites of the Organizers) and 100 points is the highest score

17. The contestants after the registration on the day of the Competition at registry desk will be able to use:
-changing rooms
-warm-up room
-stage (only in assistance of technical stuff – in order to maintain safety of the contestants). Entering stage area without technical stuff is forbidden
-and will be provided with any kind of help from the Organizers

18. The contestants will be obliged to sign certain documents at registry desk, such as:
-permission to use their image/effigy in all media and/or for promotional purposes in range as Organizer see it fit, yet in regard of good name of every contestant
- one day health insurance – followings of misfortune events/accidents

19. The contestants on day of the Competition at registry desk have to provide Organizers with music of own choice recorded on CD (only one music piece per CD – two CDs for two performances if contestant prepared two). CDs must be signed:
- with name and surname or nickname if contestant will use such
-clear marking which CD is to be played during Ist round and which during IIst round of the Competition

20. The contestants do not have to use both poles during their performance and not using rotary pole will not be regarded by Members of Jury and will not be marked with less points due to the fact that Members of Jury realize that not every contestant has possibility to train on rotary pole.

21. Prizes:

  • Ist Place 1500 EURO (6000 PLN ) + one year membership in PFA
  • IInd Place 750 EURO (3000 PLN)
  • IIIrd Plce 325 EURO (1500 PLN)
  • SPECIAL PRIZE (best artistic expression) - statuette awarded by new Orleans Club (main sponsor) and Pole dance Project (organizer of Pole dance Cup). This award can be given to a contestant who didn't make it to the final six.
  • Every awarded contestant will be invited to perform on 5th of June 10.00-15.30 at POLE DANCE CHAMPIONS SHOW - participants will receive honorary for the show.
  • First III places winners will receive gifts founded by Pole Dance Cup partner logo-poledanceart

Member's of Jury reserve right to not grant Ist Place. The Organizers reserve right to grant special prizes as see it fit
