Enjoy (translation below)

1. How your Pole Dance tale began?
I started teaching and learning Pole in my dining room.  I was a stay-at-home Mom at the time, and very unhappy.  I found myself drawn to the pole, and wanting to feel co-ordinated in my body.  My background and degree is in Psychology, and when I found the benifits that Pole Fitness, Pole Dancing had on my self esteem, I was unable to deny it.  I lost 25 pounds, and got to know myself, and my strengths, both physically and mentally.  There was no turning back.  That dining room turned into my 19 Pole Fitness Studio in Salt Lake city, Utah.  I then started the PFA 2 years after, and the rest is history.

2. Did you meet with any bad reactions to Pole Dance in your country?
I did not recieve a warm welcome to opening up my studio at first.  I live in a very conservative State in the U.S., and people just did not understand.  But I finally got my lease for the studio, and have always held my ground.  I am very careful not to use the term :dancing", rather I refer to it as "Pole Fitness", is is a sport, and art and a science, and I never deter from that.  It is my passion to change the "stigma" associated with our sport.  I spend at least 80% of my time re-educating people on what it is we really do, and what an amazing workout Pole Fitness really is.

3. What in your opinion should be the next step at Polish Pole Dance Stage?
I feel that Poland should come together, share with each province, just like you are doing.  I feel that you should hold your competitions regularly, get your Trainers certified in training Pole Fitness and align with organizations like the PFA that hold high standards in teaching and safety.  I feel being certified, and having proper insurance is so very important when training in a studio.  I commend all the efforts to date, and am a very big advocate for Poland and Pole Finess/Pole Dance in Poland.

4. How your Pole Dance/Fitness life affects your personal life?
It changed EVERYTHING.  I became a stronger Woman, my marriage changed, my passion for life was re-born.  Pole Finess changed my life, my future, and my well being.  I also watch the same thing happen to Women every day, all over the World.  It is Simply amazing.  I can now express myself clearly, am not afraid to try things, and I now know my strength.  All Thanks to Pole.

5. Is Pole Dance fully rewarding and satifying for you?
It is hard, it challenges me on every level, and is rewarding like nothing I have ever done.  I find this sport, this art to be completely rewarding and satisfying on so many levels.  This is why I teach, share, and participate in Global events.  I want this to stay, and to continue to empower Women and Men all over the World for many years to come.  It will surely challenge me for the rest of my life, and I find that so very satisfying.

6. What are your future plans regarding Pole Dance?
To continue to train and certify instructors all over the world.  I plan to help elevate the standards and safety, and to treat Pole Fitness in a professional way.  I am managing director for the PFA, and plan to judge, teach, train, and help studio's become the very best they can.  It is important to me, that we all raise our expectations, and continue to raise the proffesional expectations, as well as run our studio's in a professional manner.  I also plan to continue to support any and all things that elevate our sport and help it continue to grow and be recognized

7. If you could would you start Pole Dance story again?
I wouldn't.  I love the story, and others stories too.  If I could change anything, I simply would have done it sooner, but then again, I feel it all happened perfectly.  I love Pole Fitness and my passion is sharing knowledge so we can all get the most out of our own "Pole Dance Story".  I would like to see Studio's and Competitors standing together, on their different paths, and supporting eachother. in their own.  We are all different, with different styles, THAT is the beauty of Pole Dancing/Fitness.  There is room for all of us together, and together we stand strong.
